The island of Lifou is situated on the migratory route of pelagic species. The sea life there is abundant and varied. What's more, the island has an FCD (fish concentration device) making fishing possible throughout the year. The peak season for marlins runs from October to April.
Lifou, however, is not only reserved for game fishermen. If you prefer relaxation that gives line fishing, you will enjoy coral reefs abounding in all kind of fishes.
